Gaël Cottet joins Bloom as Director of Marketing Analytics

The agency, Bloom, welcomes Gaël Cottet as its new Director of Marketing Analytics to help the agency’s clients navigate, but more importantly, capitalize on the multitude of changes related to new communications and marketing challenges within the digital ecosystem.

Gaël was born into the tech world: his parents worked for a large technology company and he himself studied marketing and e-commerce.

He also started the North American operations of the French company Eulerian, a platform focused on data collection, analysis and data-driven decision making. Gaël is a pioneer in the challenges of implementing data-driven marketing attribution and decision-making models.

Through a business and technical approach, he has successfully integrated the technology with several advertisers and helped develop the certification program. He got to know Bloom and its employees when the agency passed its Eulerian certification.

He continued his career at Dialog Insight where he developed his knowledge in email marketing. He has also acted as a Customer Data Platform consultant for companies such as Tourisme MTL.

Gaël’s vision for the marketing analytics department at Bloom is clear. Brands are currently facing a series of challenges related to data collection, use and activation: the gradual disappearance of third-party cookies, government regulations related to privacy, new methods of attribution and user tracking, etc. With his team of data analysts, Gaël wants to provide brands with the support and tools they need to succeed in this new digital era.

I am extremely excited to join Bloom. I know the value we can bring to clients and look forward to helping them build a strong 360 digital ecosystem. Companies of all sizes, omnichannel or not, need to take the time to evaluate their current efforts related to data collection and activation in order to develop a solid governance and automation plan. This exercise should be a priority for brands in 2022.
