Rachelle Houde-Simard Joins Bloom as VP, Social and Creative

by

Digital Marketing / July 31, 2025

Rachelle Houde-Simard has been named Vice President, Social & Creative at Canadian performance marketing agency Bloom.

With over two decades of experience in marketing communications, Rachelle is a respected strategist, published author, and sought-after speaker. Her passion for brands, culture, storytelling, and community-building has shaped a career defined by both innovation and impact.

“Rachelle made her mark from day one,” said Xurxo Vidal, Chief Operating Officer at Bloom. “She quickly brought her team together around a clear, ambitious vision. Her ability to structure, mobilize, and inspire is driving a major evolution in how we approach social and creative work.”

In this new role, Rachelle will oversee Bloom’s social media, influencer marketing, and creative teams, with a focus on building an integrated, authentic, and performance-driven model. Her deep understanding of cultural, human, and technological dynamics fuels a vision where creativity becomes a core driver of performance.

“In today’s digital world, content, influence, and performance can’t live in silos,” said Martin Perron, Bloom’s CEO. “They need to work together as one ecosystem, feeding into each other to boost both impact and relevance.”

Rachelle sees this alignment as essential for brands looking to stay meaningful in an increasingly saturated and fast-moving landscape.

“Creativity today isn’t just about originality, it’s about delivering real value: culturally, relationally, commercially,” she said. “My goal at Bloom is to build a creative and social approach that’s firmly rooted in modern behaviour. One that’s responsive to emerging signals, sensitive to context, and designed to help brands forge lasting connections with their communities.”

Rachelle will also lead the agency’s efforts in the ethical and meaningful integration of artificial intelligence into the creative process, ensuring it meets the highest standards of the industry.

“This is the kind of challenge I thrive on, where strategy, creativity, and culture intersect, I’m excited to take it on alongside the incredible team at Bloom.” she adds.
