Congrats to Frank & Oak!

It’s exciting to see a great team we’ve worked closely with for a few years get a huge vote of confidence. Montreal-based men’s clothing retailer Frank & Oak just raised a Series A investment of $5 million led by Lightbank, the VC firm started by Groupon’s founders Eric Lefkosky and Brad Keywell with participation from Bertelsmann Digital Media InvestmentsRho Canada Ventures and earlier backers Real Ventures.

Frank & Oak, provides men with a personalized shopping experience by offering fresh threads every month with new collection releases, brilliantly presented in unique editorials. Guys can also join the Hunt Club, which selects and recommends pieces that are best suited for each of its members and sends them a personalized box every month. And to top it off, every item is under $50.

We’re proud to be have helped the team with user acquisition both at the Modasuite stage, through the pivot to Frank & Oak, and culminating with this round of funding that will allow them to grow their team. We’re looking forward to seeing their growth as they move into this next phase. Way to go guys!
